Dr. Arvind Senthil Kumar, M.D.

Dr. Arvind Senthil Kumar is a board-certified physician specializing in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine, dedicated to helping patients find lasting relief through a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to interventional pain care. He is thrilled to join the team at Nova Spine and Pain Care, bringing with him a wide-ranging skill set built through both his residency and pain medicine fellowship at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital.

In fellowship, Dr. Kumar trained extensively in advanced interventional techniques and gained experience providing multimodal treatment options to patients with complex pain syndromes. During his rigorous residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, he built competence in diagnosing and treating various musculoskeletal and sports injuries. He then provided comprehensive, rehabilitative plans to patients to restore function. He has experience with multiple regenerative interventions and is passionate about the future of regenerative medicine.

Dr. Kumar earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Beyond his clinical training, Dr. Kumar has also authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and case reports on topics ranging from spinal cord stimulation for cancer-related pain to procedural safety initiatives in interventional pain medicine, and has presented his work at national meetings including the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the Eastern Pain Association.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Kumar is passionate about fitness, training for function and longevity. He loves traveling to adventurous destinations with his wife, and is also an avid automotive enthusiast. He is honored to bring his training, compassion, and patient-centered philosophy to the Nova Spine and Pain Care family, and looks forward to helping patients throughout Alpharetta and the greater Atlanta area get back to the lives they love.
